Clinical Decision Support
Deterministic UTI Clinical Decision Support
Consistent, explainable outputs for AI reasoning and clinical workflows.
The Engine
A deterministic approach to UTI evaluation
MBF Clinical Solutions has developed a deterministic clinical decision support engine for urinary tract infection evaluation. Unlike probabilistic AI models, our system produces consistent, rule-based outputs grounded in evidence-based guidelines — designed to reduce diagnostic noise, support appropriate antibiotic stewardship, and integrate cleanly into AI reasoning pipelines and clinical workflows.
Clinical Impact
Why It Matters
- Reduce unnecessary antibiotic prescribing
- Accurately identify asymptomatic bacteriuria (ASB)
- Prevent low-value urine testing
- Stabilize upstream diagnostic signals for AI models
- Improve alignment with IDSA and institutional guidelines
For Partners
Built for Teams Who Need Clean, Deterministic Signals
MBF Clinical Solutions is built for teams who need clean, deterministic upstream signals that strengthen downstream reasoning, automation, and clinical decision support. Our UTI engine produces consistent, explainable outputs that integrate directly into AI reasoning platforms, intake and triage systems, workflow routing tools, and evidence-aligned CDS engines.
We collaborate with partners who value accuracy, stewardship, and signal stability. Pre-NDA, we provide high-level overviews of inputs, outputs, and integration pathways. Full logic architecture, thresholds, and decision sequences are shared only under NDA.
If your platform relies on structured clinical inputs, deterministic logic, or evidence-aligned decision support, we're ready to explore integration opportunities.
Proprietary Architecture
Full Logic Pathways Are Shared Under NDA
The complete decision tree architecture, clinical rule sets, and integration specifications are confidential. Qualified partners, health systems, and AI developers may request access to the full technical package under a mutual non-disclosure agreement.
About the Founder
Melissa — RN, Infection Control Preventionist & Founder
I'm an RN and former Infection Control Preventionist with deep experience in clinical workflow design, documentation review, vaccination clinic operations, and antibiotic stewardship. After years inside ambulatory and urgent care, I saw how inconsistent UTI evaluation creates downstream problems for clinicians, patients, and stewardship programs.
I'm the inventor of a patent-pending deterministic UTI clinical decision support engine designed to stabilize upstream signals, reduce unnecessary antibiotics, and support evidence-aligned decision-making. My work focuses on building clean, explainable logic that integrates directly into AI reasoning platforms, workflow automation systems, and CDS tools.
I founded MBF Clinical Solutions to bring clinically grounded, deterministic support into environments where accuracy, consistency, and stewardship truly matter.
Architecture
Scalable Architecture
MBF Clinical Solutions is built on a modular deterministic framework designed for long-term scalability. Each logic engine operates independently yet integrates seamlessly into broader clinical reasoning pipelines, allowing the system to expand without disrupting core functionality.
The current UTI engine represents the first module in a larger architecture capable of supporting additional infection domains, longitudinal data streams, partner-specific workflows, and future clinical logic layers. This modular design ensures that the platform grows with partners while maintaining the deterministic clarity and explainability that define the MBF approach.
